Dogmatic Slumber - An analysis on human experience proposed by Immanuel Kant with his famous Critique of Reason was the most dominating philosophy in the thought of nineteenth Century. And from then, till today it has ruled the Critical Philosophy.
Different philosopher had different views for Kant. Nietzsche takes Kant for granted and passes on. Schopenhauer proposed that the Critique "The most important work in German literature" and also stated that a Man is child until he understood Kant. Even Kant was considered as merit for man to be a Philosopher. Spencer could not understood Kant, and for precisely that's the reason, perhaps fell short of the fullest philosophic stature. And remember the Heqels phrase - TO BE A PHILOSOPHER ONE MUST BE A KANTIAN AT FIRST PLACE.
So Kant would be difficult to understood and even the philosophical work proposed by him was tougher and a challenge to learn. The reason would be examples, Kant always disdain example's, and also stated that his work is for professional philosopher's. So that his book would be restricted to 800 pages. Yet went Kant gave his MS of Critique to Herz, a man much versed in speculation. He returned it half read, saying he feared insanity if he goes further. It shows how deeper and wider thought processing engine(mind) is possesed by KANT.
Hence its important to understand Kant work from Kant himself using different way. So lets go ahead deviously and cautiously. And then enter the subtle centre of his thought engine and philosophical work.
